The New South Wales Futsal Referees Association (NSWFRA) is responsible for referees across all Futsal competitions under the jurisdiction of Football NSW, affiliated to Football Federation Australia and FIFA.
Futsal is a sport played all year round with NSW Premier League competitions running from September to December. NSWFRA has four current FIFA Futsal referees as well as AFC Referee Instructors as coaches to provide coaching and technical advice so that as a referee, you are able to reach your full potential. Referees continue their development while supplementing their income by officiating on local competitions played on most nights throughout the Sydney metropolitan area.
Registration is essential due to the popularity and cost of the course includes membership to NSWFRA for a full year.
You can register for a course that has been advertised at MyFootballClub and follow the below instructions. Please note that full payment for the course is required prior to attendance.
- On the MyFootballClub home page, in the menu, select Referees > Find a Refereeing Course
- Select the following options: Course - 'Futsal Referee Laws of the Game', Timeframe - 'Anytime', State - 'New South Wales'. Click Search.
- Select the course you would like to attend. Please note that there are two courses listed for each date/venue: the first listed is specifically for junior referees, the second listed specifically for senior referees (as defined above).
- Follow the prompts and you have completed your registration!
