The Association held its Annual General Meeting and presentation of annual awards on 25th March 2024 at Bankstown Sports Club. The Association was fortunate to have two special guests present - Ed Ferguson, Head of Football Development at Football NSW and Matthew Cheeseman, General Manager of Elite Refereeing at Football Australia.

At this week's National Futsal Championships on the Gold Coast, it wasn't just the players, teams and coaches that were recognised for their achievements.

FIFA recently published the 2023-24 edition of the Laws of the Game. These laws will apply for all new competitions in Australia, starting with the 2024 National Futsal Champonships. 
 

A new document has been added to the 'Competition Information' subfolder, within the 'Documents' section of the website, for members to access. It contains information on the various local/community futsal competitions that NSWFRA appoints referees to, including days, times and age

We are pleased to announce that a number of Futsal Laws of the Game courses have been organised for the coming weeks. 

If you have some time free during the week, why not referee at the Football NSW Futsal Schools Championships, which have already kicked off for 2023! There are regional tournaments in several locations throughout NSW all the way through to September this year. Take a look at the 'Events' page on the website for details.

A few weeks ago, NSWFRA President Adrian Tamplin, Vice-President Nick Backo and Registrar Jonathon Moore officiated at the Oceania Football Confederation Futsal Cup in Fiji. Nick has provided some wonderful insights into his trip - sit down, grab a coffee and enjoy the read!

Great news! Football NSW has just launched its Women in Football Scholarship Program, which includes funding to support new female futsal referees. 

Having returned earlier this month with fellow FIFA Futsal Referee and NSWFRA member Andrew Best from officiating at the Futsal Asian Cup 2022 in Kuwait, Ryan Shepheard was kind enough to provide NSWFRA with some amazing insights into his recent refereeing adventure.

The NSW Futsal Referees Association (NSWFRA) has announced the match official appointments for the grand finals of the FNSW Futsal Premier Leagues.

The NSW Futsal Referees Association is saddened to hear of the passing of life member, Mr Ian Timms.

The NSW Futsal Referees Association is pleased to announce the structure and requirements surrounding the 2019 FNSW Futsal Premier League Referee Panels.

More than 50 of the NSWFRA's top referees and referees coaches descended on Valentine Sports Park in Glenwood on Saturday, 15 September for pre-season fitness testing and a technical workshop ahead of the 2018/19 futsal season.

The NSWFRA is pleased to announce the Referees' Panels for the 2018/19 Football NSW Premier League season. The provisional panel has been built from the expression of interests received from the membership over the past month.

Registrations for the 2018/19 futsal season are now open on MyFootballClub. To register for the NSWFRA for the upcoming season, select 'NSW Futsal Referees Association' as the Club and your relevant package (i.e. 'Returning Senior Referee' or 'Returning Junior Referee'). You can find a guideline on how to complete your registration on the NSWFRA website in the documents library.

The NSWFRA has launched a development program for talented futsal referees aged 16 to 25 who are on the pathway to elite senior futsal. This program promised to offer opportunities to the referees involved and the first of such chances came up recently; a trial match between East Coast Heat and the Solomon Islands u20 team at Dural Sport and Leisure Centre.
